Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in plain text. When you use our tools, we may temporarily process the target URLs or keywords you submit in order to return results — we do not sell this data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to operate your account, process license key redemptions, maintain your token balance and usage history, respond to support requests, and send essential account and billing notifications. We do not use your data for third-party advertising.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in an encrypted PostgreSQL database. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt before storage. Session cookies are signed, HTTP-only, and marked Secure in production. We apply industry-standard security headers (Content-Security-Policy, HSTS, X-Frame-Options) across the site.

4. Third-Party Services

We use PayPal to process token bundle purchases — we never see or store your full payment card details. We may use the Anthropic API to power AI-assisted tools; content you submit to those tools may be processed by Anthropic under their own data-handling terms.

5. Your Rights

You may request a copy of your data, ask us to correct inaccuracies, or request deletion of your account at any time by contacting privacy@semstacker.com. We will respond within 30 days.

6. Cookies

We use a single essential session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or an in-app notice before they take effect.
